Jamun creates a dramatic natural purple swirl that looks made for a short-form recipe video. Curd softens the fruit's astringency, while banana can add sweetness without refined sugar.

Method
01
Wash jamun, remove every seed and blend the flesh with lemon into a coarse purée.
02
Blend curd, cardamom and optional banana separately until smooth.
03
Layer and lightly swirl both mixtures in clean pop moulds without fully combining them.
04
Freeze until solid, usually 6 hours, and briefly run the mould under cool water to release.
Kitchen notes
Count the jamun seeds before and after pitting so none reaches the blender.
Keep frozen and do not refreeze melted dairy pops.
